Q What is the difference between 3528 LEDs v 5050 LEDs?
A LED chips are all not all equal. The four digits represent the size of the chips in millimeters. For example, the 3528 chip is 3.5 mm X 2.8mm. Some chips are brighter than other and some have special uses and restrictions.

Q How much lumen led chips does Ledodm use for led strip lights?
A 3528 7-8LM, 5050 22-24LM, 2835 24-26LM, 5630 55-60LM, 2110 10-12LM. Ledodm offers high lumen led chips for our normal led strips. Other higher lumen led chips are also available for special use.
-
Q What is mA or mAmp?
A This is 1/1000 or 0.001 of 1 ampere. When using LED strips it is common that the current draw for the LEDs will be less than one amp. In this case milliamps are used to indicate the amp draw. An example of this would be that a draw of ½ amp would be equal to 500mAh.
-
Q How much color rendering index for Ledodm's led chips?
A Ledodm use at least Ra80 led chips to produce our led strip lights. When we test by the integrating sphere machine, it usually shows Ra83 for most of our led chips. Ra90 and Ra95 led chips are both available for special projects.

Q What is a Watt?
A A watt is equivalent to one joule per second, corresponding to the power in an electric circuit in which the potential difference is one volt and the current one ampere. A watt is equal to the voltage multiplied by the amperage. This is how your electric company keeps track of how much energy you consume.

Q How much color temperature can Ledodm do?
A For warm white and cool white color, 2200K, 2700K, 3000K, 4000K, 5000K, 6000K and 12000K these color temperatures are popular for led strip lights. We can do other color temperatures according to customer’s request.
-
Q What is Binning?
A Simply put, binning is the process of grouping LEDs during production so that they matched with LEDs of the same color sector. For example, all 2700K chips are ‘binned’ together and are separated from chips that have a higher/lower color temperature.

Q What kind of waterproof rating can Ledodm offer?
A IP20: Non-waterproof
IP65: Silicone Glue Waterproof
IP66: Silicone Tube Waterproof
